Ryan Crawford of the Ithaca College men's lacrosse team has been named an NCAA postgraduate scholarship finalist. Crawford, who graduated in May after earning three letters as a midfielder, is one of 68 finalists for the award, and one of just 21 Division III athletes.

A maximum of 29 winners will be chosen later this month. Crawford majored in history with a minor in politics. He spent three years here after transferring to Ithaca from Ohio Wesleyan. Crawford played in all but one game during his career.

Ithaca compiled an 11-3 record this spring and finished the season ranked 10th in the national coaches' poll. IC had a 35-10 record in Crawford's three seasons, making a pair of NCAA playoff appearances.
