Park Productions, the professional production unit in the Park School, was honored with a CINE Golden Eagle Award for the documentary, Breaking the Cycle, by two juries at this year's competition.

CINE is internationally recognized for its highly acclaimed film and video competitions and related educational and supportive activities that culminate every year in a gala awards event held in Washington, D.C. The award acknowledges high quality professional production in a variety of content categories, as well as in student and amateur works.

The CINE Golden Eagle Award is the second honor the documentary has received. Earlier this year it earned the esteemed Silver Plaque from the jury of the Chicago International Television Awards or "Hugos."

Since 1968, Park Productions has provided students with professional experience in a variety of film, video, and multimedia productions. It has also filled an important role within the College and general Ithaca community by creating high-quality film, video, and multimedia programs at a reasonable cost.
