Kelli Grant ’04, a journalism major and award-winning Ithacan reporter, was selected in a national application process to serve as an intern for the Society of Professional Journalism’s (SPJ) Working Press.

The Working Press is a daily newspaper published during the annual SPJ national convention, to be held this year from Sept. 11-13 in Tampa, Florida. It is staffed completely by college students who compete nationally for the role.

Kelli is the second Park student to intern for the Working Press. Melissa Thornley '02 was selected in 2001.

Kelli is spending the summer in Washington D.C. working as editorial assistant for Air and Space magazine, a publication of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
