The following are important policy changes effective for the fall 2003 semester.
Classes begin on Wednesday, August 27. Please be aware that classes will meet that day on a Monday schedule.
Example: If the class normally meets on Monday at 5:25 p.m., it will meet on Wednesday, August 27, at 5:25 p.m. If the class normally meets on Monday-Wednesday-Friday at 9:00 a.m., it will meet on Wednesday, August 27, at 9:00 a.m. Classes that normally meet on Wednesday only, will meet on the following Wednesday, September 3, for the first time. Beginning on Thursday, August 28, classes will meet on the normal schedule.
New Add/Drop Policy
The dropping or adding of full semester courses and block I courses must be completed by the end of seven calendar days from the start of the semester (plus Labor Day in the fall). No add/drop will be accepted after this period.
An instructor can drop any student on his or her roster if the student does not attend the first class meeting of the semester and fails to notify the instructor, in advance, of why he or she cannot make the class.
Add/Drop ends Wednesday, September 3, for full semester and block I courses.
Add/Drop ends Friday, October 24, for block II courses.
