The Diversity Awareness Committee is a student affairs and campus life committee that needs and welcomes anyone with an interest in diversity issues.

Please join us for our first committee meeting on Tuesday, September 2, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in Friends 102.

A few of the events this group has supported or worked on in the past include:

• Faculty Diversity Book Award
• Follow-up to bias-related incidents
• Discussions about implementing a diversity requirement for academic coursework
• Unity Day celebration
• Cornell Interactive Theater Ensemble
• Nationally recognized speakers
