On Sunday, September 7, two young women who were part of the Ithaca College Dining Services family tragically lost their lives in an automobile accident. Lisa Swansbrough and Frannie Swansbrough, who were sisters-in-law, both worked at Terrace Dining Hall.

Lisa had worked in salad preparation for three years, while Frannie was a line server who had started just last month. In addition to being sisters-in-law, Lisa and Frannie were best friends. Lisa was a person who always had a smile on her face and would be willing to lend an ear to anyone when needed. Frannie was more reserved, as she was just starting to get to know everyone here, but was just as friendly.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families, friends, and colleagues for their tragic loss.
