Foul Ball tells the story of Bouton's failed attempt to save Waconah Park in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It is a story of small city politics, stadium financing, and freedom of expression that would not be believed if it were not true. This lecture is cosponsored by the Office of the Provost, the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, the Roy H. Park School of Communications, and the Department of Sport Management and Media. For further information contact Stephen Mosher, Department of Sport Management and Media.
