Wind Ensemble in Season Opener

The Ithaca College Wind Ensemble, directed by Stephen Peterson, presents a free concert on Wednesday, October 8 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall.

The program includes music of Cindy McTee, Percy Grainger, Eric Whitacre, Vincent Persichetti, Igor Stravinsky, and Michael Daugherty.

The 45 member ensemble consists of student selected by audition. It has been selected from among numerous college wind ensembles to perform for the American Bandmasters' Association later this year.
