Applications are now available for the Cross-Cultural Leadership Retreat to be held on November 7-9. The retreat brings together IC students from a myriad of cultural backgrounds to explore the topic of cross-cultural interaction and leadership in a meaningful dialogue.

The retreat is designed for participants to explore their own perceptions about different cultures and to discuss their thoughts and beliefs with one another. Your assistance in identifying potential participants is greatly appreciated.

The retreat is open to all Ithaca College students, and we are seeking students from a multitude of cultural backgrounds, including those related to race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, and physical ability. Every IC student belongs to a multitude of cultures and is encouraged to apply. Transportation, meals, lodging, and participant materials are provided at no cost to the student.

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on October 20, 2003 and are available in the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of International Programs. If you would like to recommend someone or have additional questions, please contact Kelly Stevens at the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement, 274-3222. The Cross-Cultural Leadership Retreat is a collaboration between the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
