The Ithaca College affiliate of the National Coalition Building Institute presents a "Train-the-Trainer" seminar. This event is funded through the New Initiative Fund and will take place Friday-Sunday, October 24-26.

The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) is a nonprofit leadership training organization based in Washington, D.C., dedicated to ending prejudice of every kind, fostering principled leadership, and creating coalitions among diverse groups. For more information, see the institute's website, NCBI. What will I learn from the "Train-the-Trainer" seminar? The NCBI "Train-the-Trainer" seminar teaches participants the range of skills necessary for providing influential leadership to end discrimination, reduce inter-group conflict, and build multi-group coalitions. Participants learn how to lead the NCBI prejudice reduction workshop in partnership with the local NCBI team. More details about the workshops are at NCBI Training Programs.
