In preparation for the Regents' accreditation of teacher education site review of IC's teacher education programs, the All-College Teacher Education Committee (ACTEC) will hold an open forum on Wednesday, November 5, for faculty and staff.
The forum will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the North Meeting Room of the Campus Center. Seven peer site team reviewers will be on campus November 8-12 to conduct their formal review. Ithaca College is just the seventh institution to undergo this particular accreditation review process.
During its review, the site team will examine documents and facilities, visit local schools, and interview faculty, staff, students, alumni, and local school personnel in its effort to determine our compliance with the state's standards. At the open forum, ACTEC members will review the interview schedule and respond to any questions or concerns about the accreditation process.
