Ithaca College

Susan Allen-Gil, biology, has recently been granted $3,630 from the Title VI State Department Grant to Ithaca College. The purpose of the award is to help integrate Latin American Studies into the IC curriculum.

Susan and Rob Porter will be offering a new course for January 2004 entitled "Natural Resource Ecology and Ecotourism" (335-39900), cross-listed as "Ecotourism and Natural Resource Management" (661-39901). This 12-day course will take place in Baja, Mexico, January 4-16. During this period they will explore the southern tip of the Baja Penisula, focusing on several environmental issues.
