Raymond Ghirardo and Megan Roberts have been selected as artists in residence at Yosemite National Park (December - January, 2003-4 ).

For the year 2004, seven participants including Roberts (associate professor, art) and Ghirardo (associate professor, TV-R) were selected for the highly competitive artist-in-residence program at Yosemite. Accomplished visual artists in all media are considered for this award. They are chosen from among artists referred by other artists, critics, and curators and from portfolios and resumes submitted by the artists themselves. In order to qualify an artist must have an established reputation in the visual art community.

An annual group exhibit will be held in the Yosemite Gallery at the National Park Service's Yosemite Museum.
