A collection of stories and poems that celebrate human diversity, the book was edited by Yolanda King, the eldest daughter of Martin Luther King Jr., and Elodia Tate. It was released by publisher McGraw-Hill in conjunction with the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Kessler is a music performance major and Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar at the College. Her story is included alongside contributions by such luminaries as Maya Angelou, Muhammad Ali, Robert Kennedy Jr., and Stevie Wonder. The book's foreword was written by Coretta Scott King.
