Marcia Dugan, former president of Self Help for Hard of Hearing People (SHHH), will discuss her book, Living with Hearing Loss, on Monday, January 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 323.

Audience members will be exposed to many kinds and causes of hearing loss as well as its common signs. This will be appropriate for students in classes related to disability and/or aging.

The lecture is free and open to the public. It will be hearing accessible with open captions on an overhead screen. An American Sign Language interpreter will be provided for this special event for the deaf and those with a severe hearing loss.
