On Thursday, February 12, the Ithaca College community is invited to a Gerontology Institute Distinguished Speaker lecture at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites. Eric Kingson, Ph.D., will deliver a talk titled "The Changing Politics And Policies Of Aging: Implications Today and in 2055!"

Dr. Kingson is professor of Social Work at Syracuse University's College of Human Services and Health Professions. He also holds a courtesy appointment as professor of Public Administration at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

This lecture will be an opportunity to learn how the Medicare prescription drug benefit law will impact older adults -- today and in the future. There will be ample time for questions and answers following the presentation.

Following Dr. Kingson's talk there will be a reception in Emerson Lounge. This program is free and open to the public.

For further information contact the Gerontology Institute at 274-1965.
