One hundred and twenty-eight individual panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt are coming to Emerson Suites in the Campus Center on Sunday, February 22.

Each of the over 42,960 colorful panels in the entire quilt display was made to remember the life of a person lost to AIDS. It stands for the sorrow, anger, love, and hope of people who make panels.

The Ithaca College AIDS Working Group invites you to take advantage of this unique educational opportunity that is free and open to the public in the Emerson Suites during the following times:

February 22, 7:00 p.m. -- Opening Ceremony & Reception
February 23, 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
February 24, 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
February 25, 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
February 26, 9:00 a.m.-noon (Closing Ceremony begins at noon)
The AIDS Working Group has arranged for trained volunteers to facilitate group viewings. This means faculty members can take their class as a group or simply recommend students go independently. For a facilitated group viewing, please contact Casey Malsam via e-mail or at 4-1092 by February 19. Available times are guaranteed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you have any questions or want more information about the quilt coming to Ithaca College, please feel free to contact the AIDS Working Group Chair Pat Cornell.
