Bryan Danforth, associate professor in Cornell University's Department of Entomology, will speak Thursday, February 26, on "Phylogenetic studies of bees based on DNA sequence data." Danforth's lecture is part of the Biology Department Seminar Series.

Thursday's event begins at 4:00 p.m. in CNS Room 112. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The biology department offers a seminar series each semester representing a broad range of topics in biology. These seminars are open to the entire College community.

Refreshments are offered prior to the seminar (between 3:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.) in the first-floor lobby of CNS. Students are invited to meet with the speaker in a small group following the talk to answer questions related to the topic presented or to answer questions regarding different careers in Biology.

Please bring your own reuseable mug for beverages. Reuse, reduce, recycle!
