I am pleased to announce that Doreen Hettich-Atkins has recently accepted the position of coordinator of special services and programs for the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life.
This position was formerly held by Sheila Reakes and was titled Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Life. The new title more accurately reflects the duties and scope of this important position. Doreen will assume her new responsibilities on March 29, 2004.
For your information, Doreen is presently the director of student life at Penn State Delaware County where she has served in this role since 1999. Prior to her present position, she was the associate dean for student development at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from 1994 to 1999. She also served as the assistant director for academic support services and a resident director at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia prior to assuming her associate dean for student development role.
