On Saturday, March 20, at about 1:45 a.m., a male student reported to the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety that he had been awakened by the noise of two unknown males inside his room in the East Tower residence hall.

The student reported one of the unknown males was going through his roommate's belongings. Upon being discovered, they fled the scene. The unknown males were able to gain access to this room because the door was left unlocked.

One of the subjects was described as white, college aged, approximately 5'7" tall, with a medium build and short dark hair. He was wearing a white or grey T-shirt.

The other subject was described as black, college aged, approximately 5'7" tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a white bandana on his head.

Anyone with information about this incident should call the Office of Public Safety at 274-3333.

The Office of Public Safety reminds students to always lock their room door and to never open their door to strangers.
