Health Policy Studies Student Wins Award

Health Policy Studies major Amanda Kurth '04 was awarded the American College of Healthcare Executives Excellence in Student Leadership for the Upstate New York Region.

ACHE Regent Nick Fabrizio presented her with the award at a ceremony on campus Wednesday April 6, 2004. This is the second award in as many years that students in Health Policy Studies have earned from ACHE. In 2003 Melissa Evarts '03 won second place in the national Hill-Rom Essay Competition in Healthcare Administration sponsored by ACHE and the Hill-Rom Corporation.
