"Out in Africa -- LGBT People and Politics in Southern Africa" will be presented Thursday April 29, 7:00 p.m., in Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center.

The quest for civil and human rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people continues throughout the world. Come learn about the challenges and opportunities facing our LGBT counterparts in southern Africa. A sneak preview clip of the soon-to-be-released documentary chronicling the Ithaca delegation's trip to Namibia will be featured. The group was studying sexual and reproductive health and this clip highlights LGBT politics in Namibia.

Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services.
