Edward Zlotkowski, Ph.D., will present an open keynote address in the 2004 Summer Faculty Institute on Civic Engagement through Service Learning.

Titled "Service Learning and Liberal Learning," the speech and discussion will be in the Clark Lounge of the Campus Center on Wednesday, June 2, 9:30-11 a.m., with coffee and conversation at 9:00.

Ed Zlotkowski is a dynamic speaker about service learning, the subject of many current conversations on campus. His speech and Q&A is open to everyone, but for planning purposes please contact Vikki Hammond.

Zlotkowski is among the most prominent educators, consultants, and speakers on enhancing learning through community engagement in the field of higher education. He serves as senior faculty fellow of the National Campus Compact, senior associate for service-learning projects at the American Association for Higher Education, and professor of English at Bentley College.
