Two IC chemistry majors presented their research at a symposium.

Michael Sangi ('05) and Kenneth Lassen ('05) presented their research in a paper entitled "Stille Reactions Catalyzed by a Silylene-Palladium Complex" at the 37th annual Silicon Symposium, held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

The vast majority of presenters at the symposium included an international community of Ph.D. chemists and graduate students from academia and the chemical industry, and Mike and Ken represented the only undergraduate students in attendance.

Their research was done under the supervision of Professor Michael Haaf, in the Ithaca College chemistry department.
