Through August 6, the system maintenance window on Fix-it Fridays will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This time has been adjusted to mesh with the College's summer hours policy.
For anyone who missed the original announcement, "Fix-It Friday" was established to provide a weekly window of time -- 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Fridays during the academic year -- to perform necessary maintenance on computers and network systems. During this time, important production systems (including e-mail, file servers, Parnassus systems, and others) and/or network communications may be unavailable.
We will not use this time every Friday, nor will we take down all systems and the network on any given Friday.
Please check the system notices section of the ITS home page after noon on Wednesdays for an update of services that will not be available on Friday afternoon of that week.
