Hear the ECHO

Contributed by Mark Darling on 05/26/04

Experiencing Connections by Heading Outdoors (ECHO) is an opportunity, sponsored by First Year Programs. A small group of incoming first year students will go on an overnight backpack camping trip to Hector National Forest with members of the Ithaca College community.

Students participating in ECHO will arrive on campus early on August 18, head for the forest with ECHO on August 19, returning to campus on August 20. ECHO is looking for members of the faculty, staff and administration who would like to participate.

Not able to run off to the woods? Perhaps you would like to join College community members to welcome the newest arrivals to our community by cooking dinner for the group in the forest the evening of August 19.

Sound like fun? Contact Mark Darling or Kim Uyttenhove for details.
