The Ithaca College Gerontology Institute 2004 Fall Workshop Series will kick off on Wednesday, September 8.
The first workshop, Understanding and Working with Low Vision, will be presented by the Association for Vision Rehabilitation & Employment (AVRE) located in Binghamton.
This workshop will define the primary causes of vision loss in older adults and teach tips and techniques for accomplishing daily living tasks with low or no vision.
Workshops are held in Clark Lounge in Egbert Hall. Ithaca College students, faculty, and staff may attend free of charge on a space available basis, though we request that you register in advance. You may visit the workshop website and print a registration form. Complete the registration and return to the Division of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions in the Towers Concourse. Please note on the form whether you are faculty, staff, or student.
