Instructor of sociology Sarah Rubenstein-Gillis MSW, CSW contributed a description of the service learning component of her course on family violence to the latest edition of Teaching About Families: A Collection of Essays, Syllabi, Projects and Assignments.

This collection was published by the Teaching Resource Center of the American Sociological Association. Student projects were designed to raise public awareness related to family/intimate violence and abuse.
