Faculty Workshop -- Developing Student Research Competencies

The library will offer a Faculty Development Workshop, "Responding to the 'Cut and Paste Generation': Activities that Develop Research Competencies" on Tuesday, September 28 from noon - 1:00 pm in Gannett 319.

The session will focus on the design of effective assignments, strategies to discourage 'cutting and pasting' from online sources, and sample course-related activities that integrate research skill development.
