New Requirement for Students Driving College VehiclesContributed by Kristine Slaght on 09/29/04
Students who need to drive College vehicles will be required to take a free, two-hour driver safety class, which will be conducted on campus by the College's insurance company on various dates throughout each semester. This new policy was strongly recommended by the insurance company in the interest of student safety and sound risk management. Students 21 years and over who will be driving Ithaca College vehicles should be encouraged to register for an upcoming class by visiting the Office of Risk Management, Job Hall 3. Students also need to complete the required driver information form Driver Information Form (PDF) The schedule for this semester is as follows (if there is enough interest, another class will be scheduled during the semester and the community will be notified):
Gladys Ward, risk manager, will meet with student government in October to discuss the new student driver safety initiative. Contributed by Gladys Ward |
