Christine Cecconi, clinical associate professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, presented a keynote address and follow-up session at the fall Even Start Family Literacy Technical Assistance Conference in Saratoga Springs on September 30.

The conference, "Footsteps to Early Childhood Education", highlighted high-quality practices for literacy and school readiness. Cecconi's presentations included assessment data and intervention procedures based on collaborative work between Ithaca College graduate and undergraduate students from the Ewing Clinic, and four Tompkins County Even Start Family Literacy programs.
