Students 21 years old and over who will be driving Ithaca College vehicles may register for the next class on Sunday, November 14, from 2:00-4:00 pm, in Textor 101.

The free, two-hour driver safety class requirement takes effect at the beginning of the spring 2005 semester. Students who take the new driver class will be eligible to drive College vehicles for one year from date of class completion. After one year, students will only be required to take a simple written test.

The spring schedule for additional classes will be released in the next couple of weeks.

Gladys Ward, risk manager, will meet with student government on October 26 to discuss the new student driver safety initiative.
