The Zagreb Saxophone Quartet will present a free concert on Monday, October 25, at 8:15 pm in the Hockett Family Recital Hall in the Whalen Center.

The quartet will perform a transcription of a Mozart string quartet, along with much newer music written specifically for saxophones by Sipus, Maticic, Detoni, and Woods.

The ensemble has performed in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Canada, and the US. They have worked with the Zagreb Philharmonic, the Croatian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra, the Zagreb Soloists, the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Slovenian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra, the Slovenian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, and the Croatian Radio Television Big Band.
