Joseph D. Minogue, retired assistant vice president of development, died on January 29, 2005, at Longview.
Calling hours are on Friday, February 4, at Bangs Funeral Home (209 West Green Street) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. A service will be conducted on Saturday at noon at St. Catherine of Siena Church (302 St. Catherine's Circle off Hanshaw Road).
Joe served Ithaca College for more than 30 years. During that period, he ran capital and annual campaigns for the College including those for the Gannett Center and Smiddy Hall. One of his most lasting activities for the College was the founding, in 1958, and management of the Friends of Ithaca College, a group of community residents who are interested in and support the College.
In tribute to Joe's work and his ties to the Ithaca community, gifts can be made to the Friends of Ithaca College Endowed Scholarship, which provides support to Ithaca College students who reside in Tompkins and surrounding counties.
Contributions should be sent to Todd Bowers, executive director of development, Alumni Hall.
