Mary Nhotsavang ’05, was one of 40 students nationwide to be chosen for the American Advertising Federation's (AAF) Most Promising Minority Students 2005 program. Nhotsavang, a television-radio major with an advertising/PR concentration, is from Apple Valley, Minn.

The program is designed to allow students to network, interview, and be honored by some of the top advertising agencies, media companies, and advertisers in the country. Nhotsavang received her award at the Building Bridges for Our Future luncheon on February 9, and was featured in the February 7, 2005 issue of Advertising Age.

AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association and represents 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry.

Nhotsavang was nominated by Professor Scott Hamula.
