Millions in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities lack access to quality health care.

March 13 - 19 is National LGBT Health Awareness week. A project of the National Coalition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health, this awareness week is dedicated to:

Promoting LGBT Health and Wellness
Preventing Illness and Death
Protecting LGBT community health

Visit the LGBT Health Awareness Week website www.lgbthealth.net; visit the LGBT Health Awareness table in Textor Hall on Thursday, March 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m; or call Priscilla Quirk (274-3136) or Lisa Maurer (274-7394) for more infomation.

Rainbow Quit Kits (encouraging smoking cessation) will be available at the awareness table as well as information on a wide variety of health issues.
