Four IC Sociology Students Present in Washington DC.

Four Ithaca College Sociology students presented their research at the 75th annual meeting of the Eastern Sociological Society in Washington DC. Steve Mardenfeld presented "No Place to Call Home-A comparison Between the Urban and Rural Homeless"...Jill Malik presented "The Long-Term Effects of Divorce on Children"...Anya Sherman presented"Societal Factors of Emotionally Disturbed Youth"...and Breanne Marie Driscoll presented "The Social Construction of the Myth of Masculinity in Popular Mass Media". Stephen Sweet(Sociology) cochaired undergraduate events at the conference. Student travel was supported by the Office of the Provost and the Department of Sociology.
