ICTV and a group of four students producers received honors at the Region 1 meeting of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), held in Stamford, Conn. on April 9.

ICTV was awarded:
• First Place, Television Spot News Reporting, “Manhunt Ends” by Kelly McPherson ’05 and Michael Geller ’05
• Second Place, Television Non-Daily Newscast, Newswatch 16
• Second Place, Television Feature, “Ice Fishing” by Adam Aurand ’04 and Peter Busa ’05
• Third Place, Television Feature, “Calvin Rothermich” by Kyle Clark ’04 and Michael Geller ’05

Rachel Webster ’06, Daniel Shott ’06, Jaime Foster ’06 and Matt Antalek ’06 won First Place, Television In-Depth Reporting for their documentary, "Mad Cow Crusaders."

First place winners will be entered into the SPJ national competition
