Math/CS to Become Two Separate Departments

Dean of H&S Howard Erlich has announced that the current single Department of Mathematics and Computer Science will formally divide into two separate departments on June 1, 2005, thereby allowing the distinctive strengths of each unit to continue to develop. Each department will retain its current location in Williams Hall.
