Politics assistant professor Beth Harris attended the seminar “The Political: Law, Culture, Theology,” held at Yale University from July 25 to August 5.

The seminar included intensive discussions, readings, and paper presentations each day. The participants will continue to share ideas and papers throughout the year and then meet again next summer for another two-week seminar in Berlin, Germany.

Of the 18 fellows who were selected to attend the seminar, 10 came from Europe and 8 from North America. Participants came from a variety of disciplines, including law, philosophy, theology, anthropology, and comparative literature.
