Interested in helping out the community while meeting great people and having fun? Did you just participate in Community Plunge? Are you looking to make a difference in someone’s life?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Peer Volunteer Corps (PVC) is the place for you. We are an organization committed to making a difference in and around the Ithaca community.
Come learn how at the Peer Volunteer Corps Recruitment Night held on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 PM in IC Square.
If you want to learn how you can work with the children at the Ithaca Youth Bureau, how to spend your spring break working at a camp for homeless children or rebuilding houses destroyed by hurricanes, or how to participate in the all-college Relay for Life, come to our recruitment night. It is going to be an informal gathering for you to learn more specifically what we do, and how you can get involved.
Any questions, email pvcpipeline@ithaca.edu.
Come check it out at our first meeting on Tuesday, September 6th at 8pm in Friends 208! You can also check out our club website at www.circlek.org/club/ithacacollege. :o)
