Ithaca College

This is the annual call for proposals for the Faculty Development Colloquium Series for 2005-2006.

To clarify the kinds of presentations that are included in the series, we will designate them thus:

• Scholarly colloquium
• Conversation with colleagues
• Sustainability café

Please use this series as an opportunity to present your work in advance of its conference or performance date. Lectures, performances, viewings, and readings have been included in the past few years, and we want to feature this kind of presentation even more. Additionally, we encourage you to suggest a topic for a conversation that would be stimulated by remarks by one or more people.

Colloquia take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays during the noon hour and they range from formal presentations with full AV support to informal round-table conversations. They are announced through Intercom, on the Center for Faculty Excellence website, and informally within departments or schools.

To propose a colloquium, please direct a message to Susanne Morgan, Department of Sociology and Center for Faculty Excellence. To discuss your ideas with a member of the Faculty Development Committee, please locate your representative through the list on the CFE Center's "Resources" page.
