Ithaca College

A total of 103 Ithaca athletes have been named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for the spring 2005 semester. Athletes named to this list must have earned a GPA of at least 3.75 while displaying positive conduct. Ithaca's 103 President's List selections were the most ever recorded by a conference member and represented 23 of Ithaca's 25 sports.

In addition, 18 IC teams (including 17 varsity teams) earned Empire 8 team academic awards, which honor teams whose members compile an overall semester GPA of at least 3.20. Ithaca's 17 varsity teams were the most of any Empire 8 school.

Ithaca's men's varsity basketball, men's junior varsity basketball, women's basketball, men's crew, women's crew, women's cross country, field hockey, gymnastics, women's lacrosse, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, women's tennis, women's indoor track & field, women's outdoor track & field, and volleyball teams were all honored.
