Two film professors honored at UFVA conference

Simon Tarr and Changhee Chun from the Cinema and Photography department took home top honors from the juried competitive exhibitions at the 2005 University Film and Video Association Conference in Chicago.

Chun's feature film "Creation" was named Best Narrative and Tarr's new media epic "Quark Star" received the Audience Award. The awards were chosen by media professors from more than 100 higher education institutions from around the world.

At the conference, Tarr was also elected to the board of directors.
