How heavily do we each tread on the earth? What "ecological footprint" do we leave as individuals, as a campus, as a community, and as a nation? Find out at Earth Cafe 2050, 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Clark Lounge.
Students from ICES will lead this first Sustainability Cafe of the semester. They will use as a starting point a fun, interactive technique to determine a person's ecological footprint by quantifying the land resources required to support humans depending on their lifestyles. From there we will engage in a discussion about the results of our surveys.
Food -- much of it locally produced -- will be provided.
