The Ithaca College Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Jeffrey Grogan will present a free concert on Tuesday, October 4 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. Featured soloists in Britten’s “Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings” will be School of Music faculty members David Parks and Alex Shuhan.

The wind section of the chamber orchestra will be featured in Dvorak’s “Serenade in D minor, opus 44,” and the program will be rounded out by the Beethoven “Prometheus” Overture.

The Ithaca College Chamber Orchestra is comprised of the top wind and string players in the School of Music, selected by audition.
