Contributed by LeBron Rankins on 10/02/05

An informational meeting about Active Minds will take place Tuesday evening (Oct 4) at 7pm in Williams 211.

What is Active Minds? Glad you asked!

Active Minds on Campus, a national organization, identifies itself as "a student-run mental health awareness, education and advocacy organization."

The mission of Active Minds is to use peer outreach to:
*Increase student's awareness of mental health issues.
*Provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness.
*Encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed.
*Serve as a liaison between students and the mental health community.

Stop by and hear what a growing number of Ithaca College students are doing to contribute to the health of this community.

Pizza will be served!
