Hugh Stephenson (Psychology) and Nick Quarrier (Physical Therapy) have jointly authored an article entitled “Anxiety Sensitivity and Performance Anxiety in College Music Students.”

It appears in the most recent issue of the journal Medical Problems of Performing Artists. This journal is the primary clinical medical journal devoted to the medical and psychological disorders related to the performing arts. The paper was based on an interdisciplinary study conducted between the departments in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance and the School of Humanities and Sciences.

This article is the first paper to be published as a result of a grant to these two faculty members from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
