"Scenes from Baghdad" Benefit Art Exhibition Saturday Night

"Scenes from Baghdad," an art exhbition at the Lost Dog Café on Saturday, October 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., will showcase the paintings of Amal Alwan.

Students for a Just Peace is collaborating with the Lost Dog Café to sell Alwan's paintings at this art exhibition. Alwan, a refugee from Iraq and former schoolteacher, is in need of financial aid to help secure visas to Jordan for her family and for her children to continue their schooling. By purchasing a painting, you can help Alwan’s family.
