Art Weaver, president of Renovus Energy (in Ithaca)

Prior to founding Renovus with two partners, Art Weaver was a staff scientist at the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source doing research in x-ray biophysics and proteomics. In the now-distant past (Art’s wording), he received M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Mayo Medical School and Mayo Graduate School. Renovus represents a confluence of Art’s interests in renewable energy technology, sustainable business, and social evolution.

Art is certified in PV design and installation by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners and is an eligible installer for NYSERDA programs for grid-connected solar and wind systems.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
